Saccharide isomerate

A plant-sugar complex that clings to the skin's surface and holds water there, sold to brands as Pentavitin.

What it does: Used in essences, serums, creams, masks and sunscreens for hydration that holds on through the day.
How often: Daily in hydrating serums, essences and creams where directed. Masks, spot treatments and sun care follow their own schedule.
