about Shop all.
Everything Korean beauty is known for, from the first cleanse to the last swipe of cushion, all shipped from Seoul. Start with two Korean favorites: the Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun: Rice + Probiotics SPF50+/PA++++, the creamy yet lightweight sunscreen that leaves a dewy glow, and the Centellian24 Madeca Cream Time Reverse, the rich centella cream at the heart of the Madeca line.
Anua's Heartleaf 77 line and Torriden's DIVE IN line, built on five sizes of hyaluronic acid, are much-loved favorites too. For a first routine, pick the concern that bothers you most and choose the cleanser, serum and cream made for it.
questions, answered.
What order do Korean skincare steps go in?
Thinnest to thickest. Cleanse first, with an oil or balm before a water-based cleanser in the evening. Then a toner or toner pad, an essence, a serum or ampoule for your main concern, an eye cream if you use one, and a moisturizer to hold it all in. Sunscreen goes last every morning, over everything else.
How many steps does a Korean routine need?
Three will do: a cleanser, a moisturizer and a sunscreen such as the Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun: Rice + Probiotics SPF50+/PA++++. Everything after that is chosen for a reason, usually a toner for hydration and a serum for the one thing you want to work on. Long routines exist because Korean formulas are thin and layerable, not because anyone needs ten steps.
Can I mix Korean skincare with products from other brands?
Yes. Layer by texture rather than by brand, thinnest first, and change one product at a time so you know what did what. The only pairings worth spacing out are strong acids and retinoids on the same night, and two new actives in the same week. Keep the cleanser and sunscreen you already get on with.
