Highlighter & glitter

about Highlighter & glitter.

Korean highlighters from colorgram, unleashia and ENTROPY, for a wet, lit-from-within glow rather than a metallic stripe: cream-balm palettes with a translucent finish, a stamp-on cube, a pearlescent liquid glitter for the lids, and a cool jelly stick and a watery glow serum that build a soft glow on the body.

The finish is the whole point. Balms and cubes melt into a wet, lit-from-within glow wherever light catches the face. Liquid glitter lays a pearly shimmer across the lids, and the body highlighters leave shoulders and collarbones softly glowing.

questions, answered.

What is the difference between a cream highlighter and a powder one?

A cream or balm melts into the skin and reads as light coming off it, which is the Korean look, and it works best on a base that has not been heavily powdered. A powder sits on top and gives a crisper, more visible edge. Creams are the easier choice on dry or mature skin, since powder tends to settle into texture.

How do I stop highlighter looking glittery?

Choose a translucent balm or a finely milled finish rather than anything with visible flecks, and apply it with a fingertip so the warmth of your hand blends the edges out. Keep it to the high points and stop short of the cheek itself. If it has gone too far, press a clean sponge over the top to knock it back.
