about Beauty tools.

Korean beauty tools make the everyday steps of a routine work harder. The PO:DL Facial Cleansing Brush has silicone micro bristles for a deeper wash than hands alone, the MinTree Scalp Purify Massager spreads shampoo and lifts buildup, and the Pyunkang Yul Pimple Extractor clears a pore without squeezing it between your fingers. Thin cotton pads and cotton face towels look after toner and drying.

If your cleanser never feels like quite enough, start with the brush; if your roots feel heavy between washes, the scalp massager; and save the extractor for the occasional blemish.

questions, answered.

When do I use a scalp massager?

On wash day, in three ways. Before shampooing, run it gently through the hair to loosen tangles and lift dead skin and dust from the scalp. While you shampoo, work it in small circles so the lather reaches the whole scalp. After a scalp ampoule, tap or brush it lightly from the crown down to help the ampoule absorb. The soft, dense bristles come in two lengths, so they reach the scalp without scratching.

How do I use a pore extractor with care?

Cleanse your face, then disinfect both the tool and the spot. Open the surface of the blemish gently with the fine needle tip, choose the loop that fits its size and press lightly, so the loop does the work instead of your fingers. Disinfect the tool again before it goes back in its tin, and calm the area with a soothing patch or cream. Skip it on very sensitive or inflamed skin.

How do I use a cotton pad as a toner pack?

After cleansing, soak a pad with toner, rest it on the areas that feel dry and lift it off after about ten minutes. Thin pads that hug the face need less product than a thick pad, so the bottle lasts longer. Essence or serum works on a pad the same way, and a cotton face towel can be cut to size and used in place of a pad.
