Safflower

Safflower, as a flower or seed extract or the light oil pressed from its seeds.

What it does: Used in creams, cleansing balms and oils, serums and lip oils, where the seed oil softens skin and the flower extract conditions it.
How often: Daily in most creams and toners; introduce retinol shots gradually in the evening, with the stronger shot used weekly. Masks range from daily sheets to weekly treatments, while hair care, makeup and sunscreen have different schedules.
