about Vegan.

Korean skincare that the brands themselves describe as formulated without animal-derived ingredients. It covers a full routine, from balm and oil cleansers through toners, essences, serums and ampoules to moisturizers, sunscreens and sheet masks, so a vegan routine here does not mean a shorter one.

What changes is the ingredient list rather than the texture. Plant extracts, ferments and plant-derived humectants stand in for honey, beeswax, snail secretion filtrate, lanolin and marine collagen. Haruharu Wonder, TOCOBO and d'Alba build whole ranges this way.

questions, answered.

Which Korean brands make a whole vegan routine?

Haruharu Wonder, TOCOBO and d'Alba build whole ranges without animal-derived ingredients, so a vegan routine can stay within one brand. MARY & MAY and Dr.Ceuracle add vegan formulas of their own, so there is plenty to mix and match.

Is vegan the same as cruelty-free?

No. Vegan describes what is in the formula; cruelty-free describes whether the product or its ingredients were tested on animals. A product can be one without the other, and many vegan Korean brands state both, so look for each claim on its own.

Does vegan mean natural or free from silicones?

No. Vegan says only that nothing in the formula comes from an animal. A vegan product can be entirely synthetic, and a natural one can contain beeswax or honey. Silicones, synthetic polymers and lab-made actives are all vegan by that definition. If you are avoiding something else as well, check the ingredient list for it.
