Mists

about Mists.

A face mist is the quickest way to give tight, tired skin a drink, before your routine or over makeup in the middle of the afternoon. The SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Cloudy Mist sprays like a cool cloud and leaves skin dewy, while the Anua PDRN Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Capsule Mist carries fine oil capsules for a silky, radiant finish that keeps skin hydrated all day.

A cream mist from Aestura's Atobarrier 365 line settles as a film of moisture on dry, sensitive skin, and Pyunkang Yul's Calming line has the mist for skin that flushes easily. A mist right after cleansing gives toner and serum damp skin to spread over, and a light pass over makeup in the afternoon brings a tired base back to life.

questions, answered.

Which face mist should I choose?

For dry, sensitive skin, the Aestura Atobarrier 365 Cream Mist wraps skin in a film of moisture and refreshes hydration during makeup touch-ups. For skin that feels stressed, the Pyunkang Yul Calming Moisture Mist comforts sensitive skin and replenishes moisture on contact. For glow, the Anua PDRN Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Capsule Mist works before and after makeup, and for a cooling burst the SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Cloudy Mist leaves skin dewy through the day.

When should I use a face mist?

Two moments work best. Right after cleansing, so the layers that follow go onto damp skin and spread more easily, and part way through the day, as a refresh over makeup when the face starts to feel tight. A mist does not replace a toner or a moisturizer; it helps both of them do their work.

Can a face mist leave my skin drier?

Plain water misted on and left to evaporate can, because it takes a little surface moisture with it. The mists here carry humectants and extracts rather than water alone, and the rule is the same as for any hydrating step: mist, then seal with a cream at home, or press the mist in with your palms when you are out.

Will a mist ruin my makeup?

Held about 15 to 30 cm from the face, as each mist directs, so the droplets land fine and even, then pressed in with the fingertips, a mist tends to revive a cushion base and settle powder. Sprayed close up until the face is wet, any mist will move what is underneath. Two or three light passes are plenty.
